General

OpportunityZA is a South African job-advertising and career-information platform that helps job seekers discover opportunities and gives Employers tools to advertise vacancies and manage applicants.

OpportunityZA is not a recruitment agency, labour broker or Employer unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

Elementum lectus a porta commodo suspendisse arcu, aliquam lectus faucibus. Nisl malesuada tortor, ligula aliquet felis vitae enim. Mi augue aliquet mauris non elementum tincidunt eget facilisi. Pellentesque massa ipsum tempus vel aliquam massa eu pulvinar eget.

No. OpportunityZA provides vacancy-advertising, application and account-management tools, but does not guarantee applications, interviews, employment offers, placements or successful hires.

Candidates and Employers remain responsible for assessing each opportunity, application and recruitment decision.
Yes. Submitted vacancies are reviewed before publication. OpportunityZA may approve a vacancy, request corrections or decline content that is inaccurate, unsafe, misleading, unverifiable or inconsistent with the platform requirements.
Email OpportunityZA at info@opportunityza.com or use the Contact Us form.

Email is the preferred contact method for account, vacancy, package, payment, refund and platform enquiries. OpportunityZA aims to acknowledge enquiries within two business days.

For Candidates

Yes. Candidates can create an OpportunityZA account, complete a Candidate profile and explore active opportunities without purchasing an Employer advertising package.
Create a Candidate account, complete the required profile information and upload your CV where requested.

Open the relevant vacancy, review the requirements and follow the approved application method displayed on the vacancy page.
Candidate profiles, contact information and CVs are protected. Under OpportunityZA’s current access model, an Employer may access a Candidate who applied to that Employer’s own vacancy.

Unrelated Employers and logged-out visitors cannot access the full Candidate profile.
Saved Jobs contains vacancies that you bookmarked for later review. It does not mean that an Employer shortlisted you.

Your submitted applications appear separately under My Applications.
Application updates may appear in your Candidate Dashboard, My Applications and OpportunityZA notifications.

Where enabled, OpportunityZA may also send an email when an application is approved, rejected, returned for review or connected to a meeting.
No. Candidates should not be charged an application, registration, placement or interview fee simply to apply for a vacancy advertised through OpportunityZA.

Report suspicious payment requests to info@opportunityza.com.

For Employers

Register an Employer account, complete the Company profile, select an Employer package and submit the vacancy information.

Paid packages proceed through checkout before the vacancy is submitted for OpportunityZA review.
No. Payment activates the purchased advertising service, but every Employer and vacancy remains subject to verification and review.

OpportunityZA may request corrections or decline a vacancy that does not meet the platform requirements.
No. Under the current OpportunityZA launch model, an Employer may access Candidates who applied to that Employer’s own vacancies.

General access to the wider Candidate database is not included in the current vacancy-advertising packages.
Open Employer Dashboard and select My Jobs.

A vacancy marked Preview or Pending Payment can usually be resumed from the point where you stopped. Use the available action to continue the vacancy form and proceed to checkout.

Use For Employers and then Review Cart to remove unwanted package products from the cart.
Yes. Edit the existing vacancy and complete the requested corrections.

Do not create a new submission for the same vacancy, because another package allowance or Job Credit may be used.
The relevant Employer may access application information and the submitted CV for Candidates who applied to that Employer’s vacancy.

Candidate information must be used only for legitimate recruitment relating to the relevant vacancy. It must not be sold, shared unnecessarily or used for unrelated marketing.

Yes. International Employers may pay using an eligible internationally issued Visa or Mastercard. OpportunityZA’s package prices are currently displayed and processed in South African rand. The cardholder’s bank may convert the amount into the cardholder’s local currency and may apply exchange-rate or international transaction charges.

Packages and Payments

OpportunityZA processes online package payments through Payfast. The payment methods available to you will be displayed securely during checkout and may depend on the options supported by Payfast at the time of payment.

OpportunityZA does not intentionally store your complete card details.

A paid Employer package is activated after payment has been successfully confirmed and the order has been processed.

Employer and vacancy verification requirements still apply. Purchasing a package does not automatically guarantee that a vacancy will be approved or published.
First, confirm that your payment details are correct and that your bank or payment method has authorised the transaction.

If money appears to have been deducted but your package has not been activated, do not make repeated payments. Contact OpportunityZA at info@opportunityza.com and include your order number, payment reference, account email address and package selected.

OpportunityZA may need to confirm the transaction with Payfast before activating the package or processing a refund.
Refund and cancellation requests are assessed according to the service purchased, work already completed, whether a vacancy or credit has been used, and any applicable South African consumer rights.

Submit your request to info@opportunityza.com with your order number, package name, payment date and reason for the request.

Please review the OpportunityZA Refund and Cancellation Policy for the complete terms.
An earlier package selection may remain in your cart if checkout was not completed.

Go to For Employers and then Review Cart. Remove any package that you no longer want before continuing to checkout.

Incomplete vacancy submissions may also appear under Employer Dashboard and My Jobs. Resume or remove those submissions as appropriate.
One Job Credit allows an Employer to submit one Standard vacancy. A credit is used when the vacancy is submitted.

If OpportunityZA requests corrections, edit the existing vacancy rather than creating a new submission. A credit is not automatically restored when a vacancy is withdrawn, deleted, duplicated or declined because it does not meet the platform requirements.

A replacement credit may be issued where a verified OpportunityZA technical or administrative error prevented fair use.

Privacy and Support

OpportunityZA uses access restrictions, account controls and appropriate service providers to protect Candidate and Employer information.

Candidate contact details and CVs are not publicly accessible. Please review the OpportunityZA Privacy Policy for more information.
Send your request to info@opportunityza.com and include your full name, account email address, account type and a clear description of the information or action requested.

OpportunityZA may request additional information to verify your identity before releasing, correcting or deleting personal information.
Do not submit money, bank-card details, passwords, one-time PINs or unnecessary identity information.

Report the vacancy immediately to info@opportunityza.com and include the vacancy title, Employer name, vacancy link and a description of the concern.
OpportunityZA aims to acknowledge account, vacancy, payment, refund and general support enquiries within two business days.

Complex matters, payment-provider investigations and verification enquiries may require additional time.
