IT Dispatch Coordinator – Night Shift

About the opportunity

Uptime Solutions is recruiting an IT Dispatch Coordinator for a permanent, fully remote position open to candidates based in South Africa.

The successful candidate will coordinate incoming technical-support requests, assign tickets to the appropriate engineers and monitor service queues to ensure that each ticket has clear ownership and continues progressing toward resolution.

This is a night-shift position aligned with United States Eastern Time. Candidates must be available to work from 18:00 to 03:00 South African Standard Time, Monday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor incoming support calls and service tickets.

• Assign tickets to engineers according to skills, workload and availability.

• Manage the ticket board and ensure that every ticket has a clear owner and next action.

• Monitor engineer queues and identify workload bottlenecks.

• Reallocate work when engineers are unavailable because of leave, illness or other changes.

• Follow up on tickets waiting for customer, supplier or internal responses.

• Support accurate ticket notes, documentation and closure practices.

• Review unresolved tickets at the end of the shift.

• Identify suitable work that can be progressed by the overnight support team.

• Help maintain service levels and a consistent client-support experience.
